About Epson Portland Inc.
EPI is the U.S.-based manufacturing subsidiary of Japan’s Seiko Epson Corporation. Historically, EPI manufactured printers (from its opening day in July of 1986 until August of 2001, EPI built over 15 million dot matrix and ink jet printers for business, government and personal use). EPI currently manufactures ink and ink cartridges for ink jet printers and performs precision injection molding of proprietary plastic parts.
Epson Imaging Technology Center (EITC) is also part of EPI. EITC develops software and drivers for Epson products in the U.S. and European markets (offices in San Jose, CA, and Bellevue, WA).
Epson products are distributed in the Americas by Epson America, Inc. (EAI), a sales and marketing company headquartered in Long Beach, California.
